Brief updates....

Life has been pretty busy with baby girl and all....
but i guess it is all worth it for her....
Everyday we would rush back home from work just to see her.
And the best time of our life is during holidays and weekends when
we get to spend a whole day, a whole weekend and
a whole holiday doing nothing but just be with her.

She's 9 months old yesterday...
and growing up fast...
i still can remember the day she came into our life and the days
that ensued....
and now she's already 9 months and a day.
We watch her grow each day and the
new challenges and milestone she reaches...
Yesterday she succeeded in crawling her first few 'steps'
and today she succeeded in sitting up on her own...
that is a great achievement...
when everybody is saying that she should have
achieved thus at 7 months....
:)
Naughty Gracie girl is growing fast and mummy
and daddy are trying to hold
on and savour every moment of it.

16the Dec 2011 ...an emotional roller coaster day...

The day was pretty much normal...
we even planned to go to Jusco to get something...
but i was too lazy to move and so was Chin...
so we ended up napping until 3pm.
When we got up...we prepared to go to Mantin instead.
SO i took bath and after that...
i realised there was a slight bleeding...
but i didnt feel any pain...
So...i was contemplating either to stop by the labour room
or just go back to Mantin.
To give myself tme to decide, i slowly packed my stuff...
just incase i ended up in the hospital,
I just had my check up yesterday at
Columbia Asia and everything was pretty much
normal...
i haven't even discussed my labour plan with my Doc...and the
scan was as usual...baby girl sleeping...
Hmm...finally Chin said we'd drop by just to make sure
that everything is A okay...
Once there, they strapped me with the foetal heartbeat detector
and everything was normal...
but we decided to wait for the Doc.
Chin and i were discussing tea-time since I was hungry...
when the Doc came at 5 pm.
She decided to burst the amniotic sac to see if the
placenta has come off...
well....yeap..we panic by then....:p
Chin's one million dollar question to the good Doc -
What should i do now?
Hahahaha.....
Well...it was decided a C-sec for me...
so yeah...a blur...tubes were inserted...
questions were asked...forms were filled...
Stem cell file was taken....
and off they pushed me into the operating theatre.
Chin walked me to the door and kissed me...
I was ...hard to describe...my feelings...
the epidural...argh....i choose to forget that...
then...i felt nothing...just a lump
from the waist down....
which is so uncomfy...
It only took about 40 mins or so but i was so restless...
i kept looking at the clock...and wondering how long would it
take...
when Gracie was finally wrestled out of my tummy...she gave
3 surprisingly short ..ek ek...ek..ek...ek..ek...
and that was it...
no screaming at the top of her lungs or anything...
Her arrival was still a surprise for both of us
to actually feel anything yet...
we were happy but it hadn't really sunk in yet
since i did not get to see her that night...
she spent the night in the nursery while
i was in the ward.
We still couldn't believe that our most awaited one had arrived
finally...

The new story of us - The arrival of the little princess and life with her

This blog is in dire need of an update -
a really belated one.
The last entry was in October when i was 28 weeks preggie.
Now is May....and our Little princess is 5 months old.

So...yesh...she arrived earlier than expected....a month and a day
from the expected date...16 January 2012.
Gracie gril decided to take matters into her own tiny little hands
and that she wanted to be a Christmas gift
instead of a new year's gift...:p

Before that, 28 weeks onward was an uneventful
pregnancy for me.
The most eventful part was that we went
to Langkawi when i was 32 weeks preggie.
That was nothing actually...it was a relaxing trip
but for one thing -
Chin decided to go for island hopping.
The weather wasn't that good so the sea was rough when we took off.
Luckily...nothing untoward happened from that incident.

From 32 weeks onward, i was preparing myself
mentally for natural labour even though
the expected date was still 8 weeks away.
We slowed down on a lot of activities though
we still went window shopping at several places.
Yeap...we still went to Sunway Pyramid for the Xmas deco...
One U for the food (Milano) and the deco...of course..
The Curve but only for a while.
Can't walk for very long now.

My parents were here and after they went back..
i felt quite emotional for a while...sad...
or maybe it was the hormone....but yeah...
i get emotional everytime i left my family...:p

Chin and I bought playpen and baby car seat...
and i finalise my packing....
and did a bit of decorating around the house...
I promised Li Xuan, my neighbour's daughter to
do the staircase before Xmas...
Finally got it done on 15th Dec....
Welll...then....of course we didn't know girlie was going to come
on the 16th right?
That was the surprise after all...
