Finally the much awaited 08.08.08 is here...today.....and today too is the officiating of the Beijing Olympic....we saw the shows and it was quite impressive...and Chin is still watching it now...
I went to watch the Mummy 3 with Aida my colleague...we wanted to go as a group...what we call the Gundiks club...instead of the 1st wives club...hahaha...but apparently only the 2 of us can make it....the rest of the gundiks are too busy with gundiks business...so we went to terminal to watch the movie. It is printed 08.08.2008 on the ticket and we at least have something to remember it by....
CHin picked me up at 4.30....and then we went to Jusco....we chatted that we should do something like taking photos or anything on this day....and that we should take some photos with our house number since it is 888.
Coincidentally, when we finally found a parking and parked our car, the registration number of the car right infront of us was 8888. I told Chin maybe something special will happen...but at the moment...nothing special apparently has happened...and Chin is stil watching the Olympic downstairs...Hmmmm...we did take photos wit the house numbers though.....teeeheeee....
May it be a lucky day for someone out there....

Gma's visit - 19 July 2008
For the love of God..i've not seen Gma for such a long time...like almost 2 years or maybe more...we just keep in touch through sms most of the time...and she was on a brief holiday in KL staying in Cititel in Midvalley with her 4 yr old son....i invited her over for a day visit....with Teresa...
Tess actually came down the week before from Seri Kembangan...she's doing her master in UPM, so she gets to visit me and vice versa.....
Anyway...we had so much fun spending time together....chatting...laughing...eating...and taking photos....so here goes..some of our crazy photos...

We had a great time together and we decided that we should have a ladies' vacation time every year where only the ladies are together enjoying themselves ..... no hubby and children to think of...just pampering oneself.....
We'll definitely have it again next year...

Jia Ming's Funeral on July 25
July 25, a friday...very misty and one could actually feel the mist falling...like drizzling rain.... we had the formal officiating of the Correction Cadet Unit in my school but Fong and I planned to go to Jia Ming's funeral at 10 later that day. Some of my class students also said that hey wanted to go....
So i told the principal and she said ok. I also told the bus driver and he had agreed.
At 9.30 Fong looked for me and some of my students were waiting too..but in the middle of the hu-ha...the principal said she wanted to see me and then she told me that Muslim students are not allowed to attend a Chinese funeral.....What a bunch on rubbish...it was not even a funeral..it was just a funeral procession through Titi town..my students were greatly disappointed....they said it was the bus driver who refused to send them and told the principal that the Muslim students were going.
I cannot believe it that there are still some stuck in the mud freak who are afraid of so many things in life out there and they are giving out stupid opinion that affect other people......i left on my own after that....went to Titi...
I waited in the town for the procession to reach the point where i parked my car and then i joined in with most of my Chinese students in the procession. I have forgotten how he looked like when alive and it sadden me to see his blown up picture strapped to the front of the hearse...van actually...it was a sad day...where all the old people sitting by the roadside coffee shops looking on...at one so young who had passed on...it drizzled a little during the procession...even the day was sad....and the sky was overcast...as if the sky was mourning with those who loved him....
At the end of the procession...we walked away from the van and i took a final glimpse at the van before it headed towards the graveyard...it was a final farewell..all the friends took one last look and turned and walked back towards the starting point.....May he rest in peace...
