And we remember you....

Ching Ming celebration or Remembrance of Ancestors Day
or Grave Sweeping Day
is a day when the family members visit
the graves of loved ones and pay their respect for the deceased...
It is also a day for family members to get together and
clean the graves and for the Chinese...presenting their
deceased loved ones with things that they can use in the after life...
(after life sounds better than hell)

Well...it usually falls on the 4th or 5th of April....
for this year it falls on the 4th of April but usually, to avoid the traffic and chaos
of the real day itself...most Chinese families will do it earlier
on Sunday...
Chin's family never does it on the real day it usually
falls on a working day...
It is an interesting celebration for me because i have never
attended and seen this festival before...
for us Christian we have All Saints Day whereby we will pray for
our loved ones who had deceased...
The preparation for Ching Ming is very elaborate for the well off families
and before it is being commercialised
(as all celebrations seem to be nowadays)
family members have to fold their own prayer papers...
in various shapes - gold bars etc.
But nowadays...all these can be bought from the shops...
all they have to prepare are the food...

Thee food for my FIL

Some of the things that people buy would amaze you...
at least me....hahaha...
All these things will be burnt for the deceased in the hope that
they would receive and use them for their comfort in the afterlife.
Most would burn money...or hell notes...
some would burn paper vehicles like cars etc.

My Bro-in-law bought this for my FIL as he didn't
know how to drive (2008)

Box of money and underneath are gold bars...

My MIL would wake up at 5 something in the morning to prepare the food
in a picnic baskets and by 7 sumting we would all
pile into the cars and drive to the grave which is situated
next to the Catholic Church in Mantin.
Eventho it is still early...the grave area is already buzzing with activities
and sounds...
After parking the car, we would carry the boxes of paper offering, incense,
joss sticks and the basket of food to the
grandparents's graves first...

The arrogant beauty one street away...

Dogs are loyal creatures as well as super adorable....if they are
from the superior breed....and it is indeed a man's best friend....
it would endure anything for the sake of its master...
the hot and cold weather notwithstanding...

A neighbour one street away owns this one magnificent dog of
Siberian Husky breed...truly a beautiful animal....and big....too....
I have always love dogs...especially big ones...and among my favourites
are siberian husky and golden retriever...
We drive pass this neighbour's house everyday as their house is located on
the main street that leads out of the housing area...
Everytime we pass by, we would slow down to have a look at this beauty...
During day time...it would sleep behind the flowering pot near
the entrance because of the hot weather...and by night it would reign
right in the middle of the porch...taking its stance...erect and alert if
any of the neighbours pass by...
The owner is quite a well off middle age couple...who seem to be rarely
at home....
and there seem to be very little contact between the dog and its owner...
To us..the dog seems pretty lonely....with no one to play with...
It is a quiet dog...nary a sound...
that is as far as the description goes....
Yesterday we decided to take a walk past the house just to see
the dog...
Chin is especially intrigued with the dog...
As we walked past the dog quickly got up from its haunch
and walk cautiously and threateningly towards the gate...
it eyed us cautiously...almost challengingly...
and when Chin stopped a couple of feet away....it tried to stare him down...
unflinchingly...
When Chin took a step to the left...it also took a cautious step to the left....
as if saying...are you challenging me...ha?ha?
Come on now...i'm not afraid of you...

It is loyal in every way to its owner...
eventho the owner...to us ...does not treat him well...
he is treated like a common local breed...
not allowed to be in the house on a hot afternoon...
and alone at night....haih....
But it is confirmed....
we definitely fall in love with him...(we assume it's a him...)

Nothing in particular....

On the wings of Butterfly....
Suddenly this phrase came into my mind...and i haven't figure out
yet what to do with it....but i wrote it down sumwhere so
i can make use of it when my creativity juice starts flowing...

Yesterday was curriculum meeting and all teachers were involved...
should be i believe because everyone should know what's happening....
i read out the post mortem for my panel...
which i guess stung sum people...
and i discovered today...it did hit someone...and the person asked
for clarification from someone else who told me
about it....
Intriguing....how things are related to one another....and
well...when it is being pointed out...
people actually felt that they were not at fault...
The result reflects the kind of situations that the school faced last
year....and of course....when 1 event which is not handled professionally
leads to another...
it will be reflected somehow...here and there...
I hope that the new principal will take note and of course make
some changes that will help improve the situation....

Complicated Thinking....

A person is defined by the way he or she thinks...
and a lot of the times we discovered that this is true...
Sometimes it makes me wonder what can possibly cause a person
to think in such a way...
But i guess...a general perception which based itself on the general belief
by a majority of the so-called expert and experienced population
is difficult to change...
The second half of the first term started with a great huha from the teachers....
the new timetable is finally out....
Every lesson is 40 minutes and there is no more 35 minutes lesson...even on Monday...
Thus the school hours is stretched as such:
Monday - 7.40 - 2.40 pm
Tuesday - 7.40 - 3.40 pm
Wednesday - 7.40 - 5.00 pm
Thursday - 7.40 - 3.00 pm
Friday - 7.40 - 12.00 noon
All these happens because of the additional subjects that the ministry deemed
important to form a civic minded and courteous society....
Haih...that is only for academic and co-curriculum...
If there's a meeting...our days will stretch up to 6 pm.
And still everybody complains that teachers have a relaxing time...
I guess talking is easier that doing, right?
It seems easy to teach but try teaching with your heart and soul...
and you'll know the difference....
Top that up with the clerical jobs....the paper works...and all the
nonsensical stuff that teachers have to put up to...
team up with the mind boggling policy that most of the time
are impractical....
You would think twice before becoming a teacher....
Of course, i'm talking about being a secondary school teacher...

And i digress again...as usual....
Anyway...i have made some sensible and practical suggestions
on the new timetable for the English Panel
but of course....i do not run the school...
so my practical suggestions were pushed aside to accommodate
some ambitious and complicated thinking that is totally unreasonable
to me...

There are 9 English teachers in my small school and
there is an excess judging from the class to teacher ratio...
i'm only teaching 3 classes of English as most of us do...
so judging by the number logically we can assign teachers
for upper and lower form solely...
and this will make planning lessons easier and more focus...

But some complicated mind think that all teachers from boarding
schools are super GRADE A regardless of their experience
(and of course marking examination papers is another point)
so they mixed everything up...
I have a headache thinking of how to rearrange the extra classes...
as i want all the 9 teachers to contribute...
so it won't be just those who are teaching exam classes will be
burdened with extra classes....
I guess some people will have to be the victims of this
so called brilliant minds....
so let it be....
All i care is the passing percentage in the next public examination....
Muahahahahahaaa.....

PTK day....mayday...mayday...

The time of the year for PTK is here again and we teachers
(the bigger majority that is) once again....
will dig up our long-forgotten-but-always-nagging-at-the-back-of-the-mind PTK book
from wherever it is stored for the last 6 months
and start to do a last minute flipping of the book...
a pretense that will hopefully reassures us that we are like
the rest of the general public who are sitting for the paper.
A semblance of (a half-hearted) preparation but preparation nevertheless...

This is my.....ummmm....ahhhhh....ummmmm(scratch the hair....look
left and right...up and down....with a puzzle look)..
nope....can't recall....number of times....taking the exam but
still i got a band 3 for the last August test.
All those who get the same band as I would be sitting for it
over and over again in the hope of getting a band 4
and finally the RM300 increment in their pay...
(Yeah...we suckers for money...)
But...as i said earlier...the hope is high but the preparation is
half-hearted....

Chin decided to stop reading the book late last night and started to flip
through the questions instead and ticked all the correct answers
in the choices provided...so that he can at least memorise the questions...
strategies....
he looked grim....like he was marking some exam papers where
the students all did badly...hahahhaa....

My strategy was to read all the simplified notes from NUTP
and then attempted all the questions and hopefully
some of those questions i tried will at least come out....

Some people make short notes....some would sleep with the book
by their side...some would even use it as a pillow in the
hope that the knowledge will absorb freely into their brain while
they are sleeping...

But...when we are faced with the real thing itself...
we realise that we cannot remember all the information that we
have read...
there will be too many conditions applied and facts to remember
and there are only 40 questions....
so as a last resort...when we are faced with the blank wall
in the brain...we will take out our weapon of mass destruction
- the pencil -
and start to darken what we deem logical.
of course what is logical to us may not necessarily be logical to the
PSD exam board and thus...
we will have to try our luck again in the next exam...

Today...i do not think that i fared badly in the exam....
I FEEL...mind you....but what i feel is irrelevant of course....
I feel that i have answered all questions with a sound and logical mind....
I feel that the questions are not as difficult as i expected.....
Nevertheless....i do hope i will get band 4...
like thousands of other hopeful teachers out there....
and finally have my increment....

Food coma time...yay...

Ohana means family....
Hahahaha...a script out of the animated movie Lilo & Stitch...
Yeap...it is family time...it's on Chin's side of the family...
His eldest sister comes back from Kuala Krai and they prefer to bunk in at our place
as our place is super comfy and quiet...
and of course the house is cosy....
plus we have the tools that connect young ppl nowadays to the
civilised world - the internet connection...
and most of all...near to food sources in Seremban and a stone throw away from
Jusco.

This time around...we are sort of in a celebration mood as her eldest son,
See How, score 8As in his SPM...
which is pretty unexpected as her mom always thought he
was too playful last year...
always with his guitar and also...online - if possible 24-7..
So scoring such an excellent grade is not in his book...
but well...miracles do happen...what can i say...
and lo and behold....he has grown up and mature...
for a soon-to-be 18 yr old boy...
Not too bad....considering all the heartache he caused his mother
last year...
But I digress of course from the food issue...

Well...Chin's bro-in-law loves to eat...
mainly because Krai offers no such fantalicious food...
they practically are havinga food coma here...
breakfast, snack at home, lunch, tea time, dinner, supper and snacks...
and this goes on for as long as they stay here...
about 3 to 4 days at the top...
well...ma-in-law's cooking is also another delicacies that
cannot be missed...all oily and fatty and meaty...
hahaha...my sis-in-law loves 'natural' food as her sons describe
it and so they eat vegetables most of the time...
we always plan to cook at home...but well the beckoning of the
hawker's food are stronger than the will to cook...
I guess today it'll be that delicious chicken rice in Choy kee...
Yummy....

New Philipino soap on TV2 - Kahit Isang Saglit (A Time for Us)

I accidentally caught an interesting new Filipino soap
on TV2 today...starring the dashing 29-yr old Jericho Rosales
and Carmen Soo....
a Philipino-Malaysian production...
Carmen Soo sounds a bit like Filipino when she speaks English....
She's supposed to have a Pinoy for a father in the soap...
She looks like a Filipino too...most prolly because of the makeup...
and yeap...there are kissing scenes too...not bad ha...for
a Malaysian actress....
Echo as usual is dashingly handsome and full of emotion...

I am a fan of Filipino soap...tho i can't really understand the whole
fan thingy back when my sis and mom watch Pangako Sa Yo...
Then there was that Red Butterfly soap which i really love
because of the handsome lead actor....(cant recall his name)
Anyway...i haven't watch a good Filipino soap for
such a long time now...
I always have a thing for the Tagalog language....
I love listening to it and think that it is a beautiful language...
to be learnt....but the only phrase i know is Mahal Kita...

Chin would definitely make disgusted sound if he knows...
But well...this Kahit Isang Saglit is a Filipino-Malaysian production...
and yes...some of the settings are in Kuala Lumpur, Putrahaya and
Cameron Highlands too..
and will look familiar to the Malaysian viewers...
too bad i won't be able to watch it once school reopens because it is
at 12.30 noon i think...
argghhh...maybe i should just buy the DVD to watch..
or on You tube but problem is there's no subtitle in youtube...

Winding down with agood movie...or so we thought...

On Saturday night...after sunset mass we went to MBO Terminal2
to catch a movie...since we had 2 free complimentary ticket
for Chin's birthday...we thought we might as well go
and watch a good movie to relax...
We didn't know what to expect...since Chin said the movie
is exciting...about retired super heroes being killed etc...

Movie started at 9.15....and the beginning was a bit draggy after the murder of Comedian...
it spanned through the 60s to the 80s...with soundtrack from
the 60s to the 80s...which include Simon Garfunkle...
we really enjoyed the soundtrack but i thought it was a bit too
long for an introduction...
the plot was a bit draggy too...as in 2 hrs and a half..
and we still didn't know who was the villain...
it is definitely NOT for children...
for it contains violent scenes of killing and sex....hahaha....
we got headache and backache at the end of the nearly 3 hrs show...
For people who love action and hates conversation...well
totally unsuitable...
a lot of talking and you have to concentrate on the conversation
to understand the whole plot...
It was rather anti climatic for me because when we discovered who
the villain was and the reason he did what he did,
the one hero that we thought could stop him finally agreed
with him....that is achieving peace through
the sacrifice of a small number of people...
It is too idealistic and of course some of the heroes could not
accept this idealistic view and i guess some
viewers too...
for the younger viewers, i guess it would be difficult for
them to understand the era of cold war that
the movie is set in...
all those newspapers clippings and news flashes featuring the past
presidents of America (the killing of JFK is included)
would make them wonder who were those people...
But overall...enjoyable i guess...
More suitable to watch a DVD than in the cinema..

CSS UPM Annual Dinner - Touch n' Go

Two gorgeous aluminium...(alumni)

Meeting people at a dinner party is like Touch n' Go...
like you touch...say hi...and Go...
Just like at the toll station....
you introduce yourself...people introduce themselves...
you smile....shake hands....and the next moment..you can't remember
their names...
So, T n' G...
Tess and I attended the Catholic Students' Society
of UPM annual dinner in Palm Garden Hotel on Sunday night,
8 March 2009.
We are like the alumni...Tess of course is part alumni and
part grad students...
as the advisor, Dr Kenny said
as long as you have completed your undergrad studies...u are an alumni...
hehehe...
we were like in UPM, to be exact, a decade ago this year...
we were the 1999 batch...and this year marks our 10th year...
we are like so ancient...
the oldest alumni there is Dr Michael...now, a DR...
We still remember him from our time....i think...
Anyway...all the alumni i assumed were familiar figures to the members of CSS
as they left uni like 2-5 years ago...
for Tess and I...we know the juniors as the juniors...
hahaha...

With 007 - Timothy 'Dalton'...and a bow tie

It turned out to be a fun night apparently..
With the emcees...emceeing in broken English...
(we 2 English teachers stayed low profile - not correcting any grammar error)
and the performances were fun...entertaining...
singing mostly as the CSS students like to sing...
and dancing...
this generation is so different from ours...

Devebra - Queen of the nite

i remember my students back in St Co loved to dance...
and here i see that the younger generation is not far off...
I especially like a performance by Gary...he danced to the song
Black and White....
the advisor, Dr Kenny too loves to sing...tho
he sang oldies mostly...but i think he rawks...
hahaha...if that's a suitable word to describe an old man...

Dr Kenny - rawks man...

i got some pretty interesting video clips to be uploaded...
Got to know some interesting funny people...
and had tonnes and tonnes of laughter...

Another Gary - not the shuffler

Total Relaxation......

This afternoon..went for facial treatment in Jusco with Chin...
Hehehehe.....we wanted to try one of the beauty
treatment centre there....since Jusco is near our house and more
convenient for us...
We wanted to try Cress but it's not easy to get a friday afternoon appointment..
the place is always fully booked...
The place is really cool...Aster Spring...or rather the name of the
shop is Bell Lina...
the treatment is really good...
and the facial treatment itself is not bad...
And my beautician is a rather kewl lady...Jennifer by the name...
just the other day...bed and I went for a traditional thai massage...
Fuyo...power giler...sedap......
whole body massage.....habis keluar angin2...
The lady massage from the feet to the hair....every inch was massaged...

Thou shall not shirk off thy duty...

Throughout the 3 years in SMUJ i notice
that there are certain people who like to shirk their responsibility
with whatever way possible...
and these are the people who will be conveniently sick at a certain time
and simply don't turn up for work...
I dislike people like this...
because i strongly believe that if a responsibility is given to you...
you have to carry it out to the best ability that you could...
I also believe that not many people agree with me...
I also strongly believe that one should have a target to achieve
and that life will be like a living dead if we are living through it as we had done
so the day before...
merely going through the whole process of living and not aiming
to achieve...
Haih...this is deep....
involves one's integrity....and again....doing what one believes
is right...

Today...i reminded members of my panel to start training
the students for various competition in April as
the English Carnival will be in April...
Hopefully not sooner that 15 April...
One person actually look at me with a look of disbelieve...
as if she has so much work to do...
and she had insisted on taking Drama from me...
so i expect that she would stick to it and bring out
the best in the students...
But instead....she tries to push the job to another new teacher saying
that the teacher has the experience of doing drama before...
Hello....i'm not one to bully new teachers....
and i do believe that a new teacher should work under another
teacher for at least a year to get the hang of everything...
and not just being dumped with the whole load...
She insisted that she has done her job in training
students for the spelling competition....
I hate it when i have to be firm but well...
she leaves me no choice...
The new teacher will be incharge of BBS for the whole year
and it is not fair to dump another activity on her...
Anyway...this particular person is a shirker of responsibility
so well....as i said...it goes against my principle...

Another teacher gave me a doubtful chuckle when i reminded
her of the choral speaking training...
Excuse me...Simpang gelami is way, way smaller than UJ
but they have started training since January...
What does that say about you in particular...
and UJ in general?

Haih....i hate dealing with people like this....
I miss St Co where training students is not one of the problems
when i was the HOP there...
How can you strive for success when people are under motivated?
They simply do not see that they are able to achieve success...
But instead they see a whole load of burden lining their paths....
I know they have family and children waiting for them at home...
but who doesn't?
I have a life too....
I have a house to return to at the end of the day...
So...why not we try to compromise....
Look at it as a new challenge...instead...and not a burden...

Arrgghhh....
God has given me the strength thus far to manage...and so i believe
he will guide me through another year...

Final day of Sports - 3rd March...

Tuesday went by without a hitch in the morning...
the students took the bus...
then we drove to Dato Mansor...
we were hoping for more medals that day...hopefully gold..
Santa and Bila would be in the 800m final...
shafidzul would be in the 100m heat and final event..
(he was one of the favourites...)

But...rupenye...ade lagi gangguan...
Bed got a call from Queen of Tears..asking her to attend a course in PD
for SU LDP...
Mak ai...there are 3 other teachers in the LDP committee and
she only saw Bed...
So...bed like me on Monday...
had to call her to ask her to change the name...
she had doubts...but Bed insisted that she did it...
Again...decision making...
haih...
Finally...Kak Yah agreed to go...
It was a 3 day event...and well...us sitting under the hot sun and rain
for 5 days...
are just too tired after that to attend anything...
Poning den...
Anyway...we didn't get any gold that day...
santha and bila got silver...shafidzul got bronze in his favourite event...
but they were selected for the state level sporting event next week...
6 of UJ students were selected and Lin was very happy...

The Gold medalists

Monday huha...in school...

On Saturday, the snake went to SM Dato Mansor to
watch the sports events...
We also discussed about transportation on Monday
for the athletes...
It was decided that Cikgu Zul will bring some students...
I sms Lin on Sunday to call Cikgu Zul...
but Lin said the snake will do it and that she had called her...
I was not worried as the whole thing seemed to be taken cared of...

Came Monday morning....
the kids were still in school waiting for transportation...
i asked the snake if she had called C. Zul but she said he could not be
contacted...
So...that morning...Zainol called and called but by the time
he answered...he was already in Pertang...
so...there was a big huha...
counting and recounting...and counting again...
i put almost 10 boys in the van that can only fit 7 with the food...
then...it was nearly 7.30...
Ara'af was there already...
i just told him to settle the whole thing with the snake...and then bole blah..
he said not to worry...
Oh...so good of him...thank god for Ara'af....
bed and I just left with the students....but apparently i left Siti Aisyah
who had long jump at 8.00...Kuang3...
Anyway....finally...half way through...i called Ara'af and
he said that the snake sent a few students...

Apparently...the snake blamed me for the huha...which of course
she started....
She knew that the bus would not be available on
Monday earlier...but she only informed me on Friday evening...
Then she said she would call C.Zul but when she
could not reach him...she could not think
of other alternative to inform him...
she could have called me and i could asked for Kak Zu's
help to tell C.Zul who lives just a few flats away from her...
Betapa pendeknya akal manusia...

She left after lunch....i tak terasa pun...sbb bukan salah i...
nak terasa ape plak?
Siape main cili...die la yg rasa pedas macam cipan....

i thought that there would be peace finally...
but that very afternoon...
The Queen of Tears called me....to asked to ask me to attend
a 1 and a half day course in PD on Tuesday...
It was for the KP who will eventually handle the Buddy Suppost System..
Memang la i KP tapi i kat padang la ni...
tak tengok ke...dah 4 hari berhujan panas...
and on the last day..you want to replace me....haih...
that course can be attended by any of the English teachers as
it is an exposure to EMS module 2...
but the PK1 wajib hadir...COMPULSORY....as
the PK1 has to write the report...
and of course arrange the takwin to fit BBS...
She asked for a name...
my God...i mentioned 6 english teachers in the school for her to pick
but she still pushed me to suggest a name...
so i finally gave 2 names...
Simple logic and decision making...
and she failed....haih....i wish for madam Wong...

Then...at 3 my hp rang...miss cal from UJ...
the next thing...Tn haji sms me...asking me to call him...
Mak ai....the big boss himself was dragged into this...
Tension nye....
Ara'af, Bed and Lin...kesian tengok I...
like ....i was torn between calling and not...
so finally i called and explained the situation to him...and he accepted it...
apparently Kak Ola was not willing to go to replace
THE QUEEN OF TEARS...
haih....ape nak jadik...tak bole tgk org senang...

But Monday was a good day for us...
Santa Kumar won a gold medal in the 1500m event....
Bila won silver medal in the same event...and Shafidzul won a medal
too in the 200m event...
i took some nice video clips...kenang-kenangan...
quite funny....of the teachers of course...
hahahahahahhaaa...

The rite of the call of the elect...on the 1st of March

The date on the pic is wrong...

1st of March...the first Sunday of Lent...
Chin and I went to St John Cathedral in KL to attend
the Rite of the call of the Elect...
Chin is one of the cathecumens to attend this rite....
It is one of the many rites that he has to attend before the baptism...
I have not been to St John for so many years...
of course in 2007 we went to St John Institution or
Sekolah Menengah St John...
but i'm talking about the church here...
It was a hot sunday afternoon...
but the church was full...
overflowed rather with the cathecumens from the other churches
in the Klang Valley...

This event marked the 9th month chin had attended CIA class...
and in a month time....
he will be officially an Christian...
It is a journey that he has willingly undertaken...
though at the beginning he decided not to convert...
I respected his decision then...
and i had never pushed him to embrace christianity...
but thank god....after we moved
to seremban he willingly asked about the RCIA class
and attended it every Tuesday for the past 9 months...
Congratulations MR CHIN...
I am so proud of you....
Muaksssss......

Fasting and temptation....in the form of LIN...

Lent seaon is here again...
and it means that Chin's baptism is very near....
as he will be baptised on Easter...

So this year...i try to at least not to consume meat during lent...
until Good Friday...
Anyway... I fasted on Ash Wednesday...and then
i try to take things moderately minus meat...

But ALAS...temptation is really great...
in the form of LIN MD NOOR...
On Thursday...she wanted to go to KFC in Bahau...
but we did not make it as the events started late...
so on Friday...
we went KFC but i only took mash potato and coleslaw...
s..well...still okay...
But on Saturday...si giler tu ajak pi makan pizza....kt Bahau...
kuang...kuang...kuang...
there goes my fasting on that day...

We had a crazy time there....
Lin, Bed, Ara'af and I...
took some photos....
and talk pretty loudly...
Ara'af kinda enjoyed hanging out with the crazy kakaks...
he must be thinking...giler...
All 3 of us are confirmed giler by the hubbies...
well..he said asal ade duit minyak...on je....
collected duit minyak for him...and of course
lunch was on us...just that he had to eat A LOT...
as we couldn't stomach all the pizzas....

2nd and 3rd day in Bahau...

early in the morning when bed and I arrived...
Ara'af said that the snake called him...
and asked him why Lin took the mineral water boxes from her
room...
Lin was pissed because she didn't have the decency to call her herself...
and of course Ara'af being the gstt didn't know how to
answer her...
Anyway...we just ignored the snake...
She was in school early in the morning looking surly...
she asked me about the program book as she wanted to photostate it....
but i said Lin has it...
her next statement was really irritating...
"Nape dgn Lin pulak...You pengurus...."
I said Lin wants to see the events and to inform the students...
"Mintak la lagi..."
They only give one per school....
"You jumpa la SU die dan mintak..."
Amboi...you ingat i'm the ONLY pengurus pasukan kat situ....
what makes you think they will give exception to
me among all the team managers...
yang berpuluh-puluh tu....

I buat derg je...
just pretend she doesn't exist...

Lin put Syafidzul in the hurdle event...
and the second day was the finals...
Lin was really hoping for a medal as he had the best time in the heat event...
I was a bit reserved as i was scared he might injure
himself...as he is a sprinter....and he only tried hurdle once before...
it was a big risk that Lin was taking here....and
i was hoing that she might talk Syafidzul out of the event...
but alas...she let him choose and kept
harping about the medal....

he did go for it...but he came out 6th as he injured his leg...
argh...now how was he going to attempt the sprint event...
But Lin is one stubborn lady...
so...i just hope that syafidzul can still make it to be
a gold medalist in one of his favourite events..

On saturday, the snake came...and lepak with us...
Apparently she is from bahau....
we went to her parents' house after lunch..
Syafidzul had 200m final...
but he came out 3rd....
haih....he could have done better but because of his injury...
oh well...it all depends on luck as welll i think...

Bed sent me back that evening...it rained so
she didn't want to leave me at the bus stop in Pasar Ampangan...
Chin had to go to the church so he couldn't fetch me...

But so far...UJ has got 1 gold meadl and 1 silver medal...
not bad for a small school...
Way to go...UJ...

Sporting events in SM Dato Mansor Bahau...

This year i am incharged of Olahraga...as the Team manager...
wow...does it mean that i can manage a football team now..?
Maybe....beckham's team....since i have
the experience of managing a team....
Hua..hua...hua...
But i digress of course....

Back to the story of sporting events...
The school that we go to is now Pn Kamilah's school...
Perempuan sihir itu...ah.....
Anyway...she as usual is not in the school....

I was pretty busy with the inspectorate on monday nad tuesda...and
at the same time...Lin and the snake kept calling me to do this
and that for the team...
haih...i used the whole of wednesday to complete the Mo1 forms...
it has to be type written this year...
i don't know whose crazy idea is that...
must be some people who have to much idle time on their mind
that they constantly think up of work
to drive people like us up the wall...
Anyway...Kak Hazlin is the other team manager who is supposed to
help me...but the school sent her for a 3-day course in PD...
super WISE of the school management...
But thank God....i finished everything with Bed and Lin's help...
Then..that that night, Ara'af called saying that he would
drive from Bahau to Seremban and i had to take the bus...
OH NO....HORROR of HORRORS...
i'd puke....winding road and a bus do not mix...
i repeat...winding road and a bus do not mix...

Bed insisted that i went with her...so in the end...
the kids go alone in the bus.....while i go with Bed...
Anyway...
the snake kept harping on 'too many teachers are out from the school'
slogan...and that the HM refuses to let too many teachers out...
But the most stupid thing that the snake UTTERED
that Thursday morning was...
"Why don't the two of you stay the night in Hotel Sri Klawang,
takut lambat kan..."

(to be continue)...

Just came back from St John cathedral..so now can continue my story...phew...

Amboi...amboi....cakap ikut sedap mulut...
She never thinks through whatever she wants to say....
this particular snake...
Bed and I was rushing that morning so we didn't
give her any ACID reply...
but in the car we talked non-stop about that....
Hah....who will pay for the hotel in the first place?
If she offered to pay and then she claimed it from the school...
we would feel glad and that someone really cares...
but well....if we have to pay and then claim...
she can shove it up her throat....

First day was hectic...events started late and all events were pushed
to later time...ended up we went back at 6pm...
arrived in seremban at 7 sumting...and
home by 8 sumting....
waaaa......so tiring....
First day was mostly heat events...
primary school had almost 15 heats for one event...
but it was fun to see the kids running...especially from sk chi wen...
one girl runs like TERMINATOR....very fast....

Syafidzul went into semi finals in most of the events he took...
Barry did not fare very well....
ah casanova itu....mesti die terasa sbb skg syafidzul is the favourite....
kuang...kuang...kuang...
