How can this be?

I called my dad just now...our weekly chat...
most of the time he talks i listen...
and sometimes give opinions and stuff....
but mostly just catching up on news....
He told me a sad news...
About a month ago, my third uncle passed away....
because of some complication.....
i don't know the real story.....
from stuff he ate maybe....
Then....a week ago,
his youngest daughter passed away.
She was a year older than I.
The sad part was how she died.
When my uncle passed on, the family members tried to inform her...
but was told that she ran off to Brunei earlier on.
So, she didn't know the news.
They said she'll eventually come back to
Limbang and they'll tell her then.
Then, the news of her passing.
Apparently, she was in Brunei looking for her husband
but unfortunately she was caught by the authority due to
the lack of legal paperwork.
She was in a lock up for a couple of weeks and then
sent back to Limbang.
Then, yeah....nobody heard from her...
until the neighbour smelled something suspicious
coming from the house.
They called the police and they broke in and
discovered that she had died for
a few days, alone.
Some said she might have been OD on drugs.
What if she had no money and died starving?
But we wont know what happen now, will we?

I feel sad....
though i never knew her...i never even met her...
My late uncle's family moved to Limbang when
i was quiet young and
they rarely came to visit...
so i never met any of his children.
How could this be happening in my family?
Why no one even bother about her?
I heard from my parents that she was a bit loony...
and like my aunt maybe need medication or what...
but this is terrible...
The way she died...all alone....a month
after her father is really sad.
My heart bleeds for her when i heard this...
i do hope she rests in peace now...
free from all earthly problems,
being released finally from this torturous life.
My dad said that she has 3 children, all very young.
People say that they live on their own, fending for
themselves, while the father works in Brunei.
Who in their right mind would leave their children
alone fending for themselves?
Doesn't anybody care?
I wonder...
Rest in peace, cousin sister...
may you be happier in your new place...
My prayers go out to you and your family.

Christmas Holiday....best time of the year....

Time does fly by very fast....
i thought i was just here yesterday....here as in in Serian
but it's 26 Dec already and here i am at the airport once
again waiting for my delayed flight....
and of all the darnest thing...
Kuching airport has no free wifi....talk about Kuching'International'
airport....haih.....
but luckily with DIGi broadband....i could chect my fb and update
my blog while waiting for my flight.
This one week had been great though i did nothing actually....
but being back with the family is great....
the only thing i did was going to watch movie
with my nieces and nephew....
and they enjoyed it very much....
i can't believe that i only spent a week at home this time.
What did i do the whole 6 weeks of my school holiday?
Nothing.....
No memorable trip saved this trip back home
and being with the family...
My mom has a very cute cat.....
he hasn't got any proper name....
mom calls him mimik....
his fur is very soft....
softer than mimau.......at least i dont miss mimau much
cos of mimik...
the kids were very happy with the cat...
anyway.....xmas was as usual...nothing remarkable but then
still it is the best time of the year for me....
my sis had her housewarming party on xmas day...
so i was busy preparing dessert for her too....
we actually planned to go to Sematan beach on the eve of xmas
but had to postpone it due to the housewarming party.

Anyway....my parents are getting older....
i'm glad that they are in good health but still i feel that i spend too
little time with them....
i wish i could stay longer....

Holiday is here....I miss.......

Holiday has started but still there are endless work to complete....
this year is a mess....
because of too much work at once.....
i don't even have time to do quality work....
now the holiday mood has not set in yet.....
haih.....

I start to miss so many things.....
my sister called asking if i go back...
my mom and dad called asking the same question....
my nieces dropped a few words in my fb asking if
i'll visit them....
i start to think of what i will do once i go back....
the plans....the time spend with my parents...
my nieces....nephews....brothers...sisters....
christmas at home.....
doing nothing and yet every moment is precious....

I don't mind that Serian has no delicious food to eat....
or that there is nothing interesting to be done back home...
but i guess....
being with family is way, way more important than that...
and delicious food can be subjective....
to me pekasam ikan is delicious food...
but to other non-Sarawakian, it may be yuckish food....
see.....delicious at times can be universal...
but some food are an acquired taste....
which you grow up with....

My heart is too heavy to continue writing now....
i may not show that i miss anyone outwardly...
but that does not mean that i do not miss anyone at all....
or that i don't think about it in my mind...
I envy those who can see their parents every day
or every week....or just often enough....
I feel that every time i see my parents they are getting
older and older.....
more wrinkles....more white hair.....
haih.....

Pressure Cooker experiment on 7th June

Everyone has bought something that they do not know
how to use or operate and ended up keeping it
for years and years....

My eldest sis, Josephine, has done something like that...
Only thing is, she kept it for almost 20 years....
it is a pressure cooker...
I remember she brought it back once...
when i was younger...
most prolly in my teen, a few years
after she bought it...
She bought it on a whim....
because it is a cooker that is....
Anyway...we didn't know how to use it....
so she brought it home again and kept it
away....
until that day when i got back from Seremban...
We went to her house for dinner on the
day we arrived....
and she wanted to cook bone stew....
but it was quite late already and the stew will at least
take 30-40 minutes to be done...
so we were looking through her stuff and suddenly i remembered her
pressure cooker...
she found it...all covered in spider web...
I told her the story of my colleague,
Kak Ngah, who bought a similar cooker for such
a long time and only recently learnt how to
use it...
so i did ask for some tips...to use it.

So, we struggled to open the lid, Helen and I.
Pressed the red button and turn the lid but nothing happened...
So, i called Kak Ngah but she didn't answer.
Suddenly an idea struck me...
wallah...the internet....
so i switched on the laptop, plugged
in the broadband and search for
how to open a pressure cooker lid...
and wallah....within seconds we did it....
since the instruction was vague on how to use
it, we decided to risk it...
i remembered what Kak Ngah said...
so we poured everything in, closed the lid and put it
on the stove.
A moment later, Kak Ngah called.
I told her the cooker is on the stove and she said to
wait for it to release a whistling sound...
it it's bones, wait for it to whistling 3 times.

So we waited for the sound....
but lo and behold...
it is not whistling....
more like high pressured gas being released
slowly...
we were not sure...since you can't count it as
1, 2, 3 or 4...
we waited for 3 minutes before killing the fire.
Then, my sister used a knife to pushed the jiggle top to the
side to release the pressure...
We shooed away all the children from the kitchen
in case of any untowards incident...
you know...explosion and stuff...lol...
Chin came in to check since he was wondering why all the
children suddenly ran out of the kitchen
when the sound started...
Helen stood far away from the cooker and
i hid behind her.....while Josephine...
being the eldest, and bravest and of course, the owner
of the cooker, brave herself to push the
jiggly....
Once all the pressure was released, we opened the lid....
and wallah.....the soup.....
Chin became the tester.....
and magically....the meat was soft....
and it only took 10 minutes to cook.
Success!!!!
Yay....

The conclusion: When you buy a pressure cooker,
you'll have to keep it for a long, long, long, long time
before u use it....
Wakakakakakaka....

Akam Chai in KGV and staying with us...

My sis-in-law finally decided to send her youngest son to do
Form 6 in KGV...
after much persuasion which caused her stress and all...
and finally it was a relief for her that
he agreed to study here instead of in KB as
her decided earlier...
I mean...KGV will be a good change for him...
meeting new people....
experiencing new environment...
and new study culture...
it should be good right...?
So his first day was last friday and
it seems that he likes it there...
which is a good thing....
So..anyway...Matahari won't be so bored with him around...
he is smitten with the cat and well....
Matahari will have companion now in the afternoon instead of
being alone from Mon to Thursday...
I think the cat is happy....

When Ms Low Ah Moi meets Ms Jane Brown...

Yeah...i know....i've ebeen lagging in updating...
not because i have nothing to say...
but because i was busy.....
but somehow...
i will try to update today...

CNY first....
It was a great break since this year we celebrated in Sarawak....
though i think it was a tad boring for Chin...
Well...he'll be bored anyway even if it's not CNY...
The way i feel bored if i go to Mantin....
no where to go for me....
but in Serian...i'm happy even if i don't go anywhere...

But the the topic above is totally about something else...
so, i'll just get to that point and
devote another post for CNY....

My sis-in-law and her family came back to N. Sembilan
for CNY this year....
they planned to come back last year but
unfortunately her ma-in-law
passed away..so the plan was carried forward to this year...
They house sat for us (and cat sat too) since we were off
to Sarawak...
but i managed to chat with her on Friday night...
and this has something to do with that conversation...

I realised that my ma-in-law has mellowed down
a bit...a tiny wee bit...from before...
most prolly because she has grown older...
My sis-in-law was at her ma's place that morning
and she(ma-il) actually invited her for the
reunion dinner on the eve of CNY...
Surprise...surprise....

You see....
for the old fashioned Chinese, or those who
hold onto tradition,
the daughters, once they are married,
are considered as outsiders....
and no longer part of the family....
and they should only come back to their parents' home
on the second day of CNY....
The reunion dinner should only be shared with
the sons of the family.....
The reason...one of the reasons at least....
is that all the prosperity for the year ahead
will remain in that family itself...

So, for my ma-in-law to invite her daughter
for the reunion dinner is like saying
black is the new red for CNY colour...
she has mellowed down definitely....
because i remembered she bought me a cross pendant
for my wedding gift...
she's accepting that her son is marrying a Christian...
and that he will eventually leave the old ways...

So, this turn of event really surprised me...
But unfortunately...
My sis-in-law decided not to accept that invitation...
Why?
Because her sis-in-law, that is her brother's wife
(Chin's bro's wife)
expressed her disagreement.
She is worried that all her husband's prosperity for the new year
will be eaten away by the daughter of the family...
I really cannot believe my ears...
I know that she is incredibly superstitious
but old fashioned?
I guess superstitious cum old fashioned then....

She is younger than both Chin and I,
but we respect her because she is the elder
son's wife...
but well....her actions always make the two
of us sake our heads in wonder....

I guess that's the way she was brought up....
and she couldn't help it since her own mother treats her that way...
and i guess that legacy will pass on to her daughters...

I guess there are many out there who are still holding onto
this belief because it has been brought down
from parents to children...
and we discover that it is always they women who
are still adamantly holding on to it...
I am not against tradition but
to me, there is always a logical explanation
to it...
and sometimes these traditions
has become irrelevant to our modern society...
Not all the tradition...but some...
so...well....people might say that
it is okay for me because i'm of mix parentage...
but my father holds on to tradition too...
and all his daughters are home for
the CNY reunion dinner every year...
but still his son's prosperity do not diminish...
so...yeah...you be the judge of it....rite?

To expect change in those who refuse
to change and upgrade themselves is a futile effort...
but there is still hope yet....
only if the person is willing to change...
But i guess...when you are cornered
by many unfortunate events in life...
and the way you think has been moulded since young...
you will always fall back to what you know and comfortable with...
even blaming fate for all the misfortunes in life...
and not one's fault as the factor that causes all these misfortunes...

A Dim Sum breakfast in Nilai...

A dim sum breakfast...
I love dim sum...
and one of the best and cheap dim sum breakfast
can be enjoyed in Nilai...
Sister-in-law's treat today...

Papak was slightly annoying when he said
pu hao yee se....they always give us
a treat when my parents are here...
but well...
we do give them a treat in return when all
the family are back in Mantin...
so..this is family after all...

Anyway...the kids enjoyed the breakfast...
Akim was so full...
Yaya was not so adventurous though...
but she's a bit cautious....
afraid that she might suffer from stomachache...

After breakfast, we went to Nilai 3...
mainly for mamak and papak to shop...
usually there is a bargain or sale there...
Unfortunately...mamak got stomachache and the
trip had to be cut short...
The girlie2 shoes are quite cheap considering there
is a 50% off...
but too bad there was no size for Sasa...

Papak was not happy when we had to go back...
It was rather inconsiderate i feel...
considering that mamak has not been feeling well
since she arrived here...
and since papak did not manage to shop for anything safe
a jersey for Baby...
he kept blaming mamak for it...
Hmmm....
as if we are not going to bring them there again...
and well...
he even suggested that we rent Mr Yee's mpv
and drive to Malacca on Tuesday when
Chin will be in school on duty...
oh yes he can drive but here is not Kuching
and he's not young...
and Mr Yee...he's our neighbour and
we don't really know him well enough...

Anyway...we went to the Pasar Malam in Mantin
at 5.30 and got quite a bargain there instead...
Not a bad day after all...

KL trip with parents and nieces...

Wednesday outing...
we went KL...
Kim and Sasa were so excited....
and kept asking about the distance...and
how far it is...
and how long would it take...etc...etc...
the car was a tight fit but we managed somehow...

First stop was the Curve...
We had lunch there and then walk around looking at the Xmas
decoration and took photos...

Then on the way back we went to The Science Centre PSN)
in Mont Kiara...
It was a really good experience for the girls...
The entrance was free...
and it was slightly different from my last trip.

My nieces were so excited...
There was the aquarium at the entrance arch way...
with really big fish...
Then there was the science discovery section
where they got to try some of the gadgets and read
on how they work...

Then, there was the Science show at 4 pm...
and bothe of them got to participate...
Sasa got to do the inertia experiment...
whereby she had to swing a cup of water...
real fast and not a single drop fell splashed on her...
Kim got to blow a balloon...
and she asked Sasa to come up and poke it...

After PSN, we went to KL Tower...
Entrance fees were quite expensive...
Senior citizens and children paid RM28 and adult RM38.
Sasa was nervous...as she thougth it was open space up there...
My mom didnt want to go up when she discovered that
i did not go up initially...
so finally...all of us went up...
The view was spectacular from up there...
Tho yesterday was cloudy and a bit hazy...
But the night lights were breathtaking...
We came down at 7 sumthing...
and complimentary to the tickets...
there was the ticket for pony ride...
Since we adult weigh more than the minimum weight,
the 2 of them got to do 3 rides each...
woweee....

After KL tower, we went for dinner in KLCC and then
photo taking...inside at the xmas deco and then outside
in the park...
the two girls were over the moon...
ahhh...wat a day...

Doing nothing but enjoyimg every moment of it...today...

We didn't go anywhere today...since yesterday's trip
was quite tiring for my mom...
but i decided to bring my two nieces to Jusco...
We sneaked out of the house...
since we didn't want Uncle Chin to know...
that the girls were having a whale of a time...
we tiptoed quietly out after informing the grandparents...

We went to the Popular first...
Kim and Shasha got themselves books to read...
then we went to look for earring for Shasha
but couldnt find any...
so we look for bargain sneakers for the girls...
but again there wasnt any good bargain...
so the next thing we looked for was a purse for Kim..
we found this one shop with
pretty kewl purses on sale...
so she got herself an RM10 purse after discount...
I got myself an RM10 electric blue coin purse...
When we stepped out of the shop...
Kim lifted up her loot, smiled and said...
Ahhhh...this is what shopping is about....

Then we went to the much awaited Secret Recepe
visit...
we ordered 1 slice of chocolate indulgence
and indulged all we wanted...
wallah...it came with a complimentary cup of tea...

It took all of our self restraint to not buy another
slice of sinfully delicious cheese cake...
since good things do come in small portion...
Instead...we went to Big Apple Doughnut
and bought 2 doughnuts...
and sat there enjoying every bite of the soft delicious
doughnut....
After that...we strolled back to the car and drove home...
What a wonderful time....
just girls going out enjoying ourselves...
eating and laughing....
and shopping...
Ahhh...purrrrrfect...

To choose or not to choose....

Who do u love most? Both...
Who do u prioritise most? Both...
Who do u think most deserve? Both....
Then...who would you choose?
I don't know.....
Pray tell...i really dunno....

Akim got 4A1B in UPSR exam...
Yaya has been badgering her mom ever so long to
let her come over here...
And finally when she relents...
Akim got really good result and the
her grandfather would like to bring both over here...
Now...our car is a tiny weeny Kelisa
that will only fit 5 ppl comfortably...
definitely to squeeze one more in at the back
would make it uncomfy...
So now...we have to choose...
so i suggested Akim as a reward for her UPSR but Yaya
is not happy because she was the one who
really wanted to come in the first place...

The kung2 on the other hand insists on bringing both of them...
It is not worth it because the ticket is so expensive for a kid...
haih...now...
i don't know what to do....
really....
i don't...
How can u choose between 2 that u love most?
We don't do we...

Festive season...meeting old friends...foood...Kuching...

I never like flying...especially alone....
but i do need to fly frequently as my family lives in the Borneo Island...
so well....though i dislike it so much...
i do have to fly...
i hate the feeling of taking off from land...
the pressure which presses one down...
somehow makes me depress....and dizzy....
and then...there is the rocking sensation or jerky movement
when the plane hits air pockets...
and when the plane makes a turn...
argh...

But what i love most is when it has landed...
My sister picked me up from the airport....
with my nieces and they were so...so...excited to see me...
I was so very excited too...
How i have missed them...

We went visiting since it was the second day of Hari raya
The first house was my sister's friend's house, Sylvia...
oh...we were so full by the time we left...
The cakes, cookies, rendang, masak hitam,
lemang...delicious...

Then the next house was Gma's house...
Food was unthinkable by then...
but out of courtesy...i ate on behalf on them...
Gma's daughter was so adorable...
she was like so friendly with everyone...
Adrina Fitriyah is her name...
and her boy is as handsome as ever....
So fair and he looks so much like G'ma...
I have not seen her for so long...
and it was good to finally see her again even though
only for a while...
I was so happy meeting her that i forgot to take photos...
Aih...

Anyway...two houses were enough...
I was thinking of visiting Zairol but
he didn't answer his phone...
so...we went back home instead...

It was good to be home...meeting love ones...
Home sweet home...

Flown the coop....

We are hopeless against the passing of time....
instead we have to keep up with it....
stopping it is impossible.....
so in the end...we just flow along with it...trying to live every moment to the fullest...
savouring each seconds...and trying to treasure
as much as we can...

I'm talking about how time flies and how we never realise it
until a significant event that jolts us
out of our lullaby...
Last weekend...one such incident happened i guess....and i think
it makes one realise that we must treasure every moment of our life
together with our loved ones...

My sis-in-law eldest son brough his girlfriend back home...
it was a first....
he's studying in UNITAR in Kampar, Perak and we were all
very excited to meet her...
so we went to her house to have a look-see...
she looks like Jamie Lim, Chin's ex-colleague in SM Sains Miri...
except that her hair is very long and curly...
Her face shape and other features are exactly like Jamie...
she is a quiet person...but we can never judge a person
from the first meeting....
for all i know she is a talkative girl...

Chin's bro-in-law was seated next to me on the sofa...and while
the girl was talking to Chin's mother....
he looked at me and said...
"Chee Heng is already a big boy...(grown up)..."
(Tze Hen also tai kou tzai already...)
and he made a gesture towards the girl and he had that awkward smile
on his face like he still couldn't believe it....
or simply because he doesn't know how to react...

I guess there will be a time in a parent's/parents' life when they
will face this kind of situation...
when they realise that their children have finally grown up and
ready to stretch their wings and fly the coop....
i guess that would be a sad moment...when it really hits home
that you have to let go and let them see the world...make mistakes
and deal with life as an adult....
I feel for all parents out there....
I just wish that children cans tay children forever under parents' care....
or rather i just wish...my nephews and nieces will
not grow up and leave the coop too...for
when that moment hits me...
i know that i will feel sad as well as happy, not to mention
afraid...for them...

I miss them every time i listen to this song...

Emotional roller-coaster...

Lst night...i went to look up some
old photos to be scanned
and uploaded onto my FB page...
some photos during uni time.....
some of those photos are really classic...
considering that there was no digital camera then..
(thank God for technology again...
some geniuses created digital cameras..)

As i was searching and looking thru
old albums...
and laughing at some old photos...
suddenly...
i found and album containing
my family photos...
back in 2005...
It was the first time that there were 6 of us siblings
with our parents..
and then all the family members...
children and grandchildren...
I took a good look at my parents...
and i realised how young my mom looked then...
how fair ...
my pa too...
i also found pictures of my nieces
and nephews when they were young
and adorable..

Suddenly...a sharp feeling of sadness
grip my heart....
and for no reason at all i started to cry...
tears flowed unchecked...
and i couldn't seem to stop no matter
how much i wanted to...

You see...
it suddenly hit me that time really rolls on by
pretty quickly...
and that things around us are changing...
whether we are ready for it or not...
my parents are growing older and i do not spend
enough time with them...
no matter how much school holidays i have...
i am only an occasional appearance in their
life...
one that is only heard most of the time
thru the phone and not
in person...

silly of me, i know...
but stil i couldn't stop the tears...
of course people are growing older as time passes...
but...well...
i guess...i just want time to stand still...

Chin said his mom too is growing
older but the difference is
he is seeing his mother every weekend...
I wish that i could do that too...
but alas...
we have to go on the path we have chosen...
no matter how difficult it is sometimes...

Oh well...i guess...
i am just going thru an emotional patch in my life
at the moment and
little things make
me sad...

Staying with mother-in-law...

My ma-in-law stayed here for a week
to cook for us after my operation...
It's kinda nice to have someone to cook
for u everyday...
and chin absolutely loves it...

But there are sacrifices to be made
of course...
1st is the TV.....
she conquered the TV the whole week...
then of course other small stuff...
that she likes doing it her way...

She threw away a whole container
of pickled buah pala
since she tot it was from
the last time we were in penang...
apparently Mr Yee just
gave us recently...
(hahaha...Chin was quite mad...)

She also does the washing everyday wic
i don't do of course...
save water and electricity ma...
but old ppl don't understand this...

The funniest thing was when
Chin helped her out while
she was cooking..
she would suggest to put this and that
outside and have a long pipe to
wash the wok etc...
Chin got irritated...
apparently to him...
Lomaji is "sinka"
(sinka in cantonese means sendiri memandai je)

I always tot Chin is sinka sometimes...
and so exasperating when he wants
everything to be put near at hand...
tapi x sedap di pandang mata...
so when his mother was here...
baru la Chin rasa how i feel...
when he did that to me...
Kakakakakaka....

For me...i'm ok...
i just put evrything back when my ma-in-law
not looking...
or i juts clean everything...
or buat senyap2 so not to offend her...
Orang tua kan...

We can tolerate old ppl if we choose
to anyway...
lagipun...they are old after all...
we might not get another chance to treat them
nicely if we don't do it now...

An update on Christmas...

I can't belief that i miss updating
on Christmas this year...
Tho it's not a grand occasion
but i hold it dear in my heart...

I decided to give gifts that my nieces and nephews wanted
this Xmas and not something
that i force them to want...
so well....i asked around..
fishing for info...

Yaya kept asking me if there is any gift
but i said nope
because i didn't have the time to shop..

I discovered that Akim loves guitar...
Yaya loves a shirt-dress in H&L
and Baby loves toys...
Florence wants a green school bag
and Moses loves badminton...

So, on 24th of Dec, my sis and i went
out to shop...and we hid everything
in the boot of her car...
thankfully the kids went to my sis's new house
when we got back...
so i got the chance to hide them..

We went to church at 8 pm as usual...
the church was very stuffy this
due to the rain and also there were many ppl standing
at the entrance instead of going in...

After church, we went back watch Tv while having tea
(classic....)
then the children went to bed...
My sis and i stayed up chatting while i
wrapped the gifts and
put them nicely under the tree...
until the next day....

The next day...????
i have some interesting short video to watch....

Loving someone to smithereen...and missing them to death...

I fell in love a long...long time ago...
way...way...way..before i met Chin.....
to a little girl....
whom to me....
is the cutest little girl in the whole wide world...
She is of course my niece...

I love all my nieces and nephews...
especially my sisters' kids...
to smithereen...
These six have a special place in my heart...
especially Yaya...
and now that the holiday has ended...
i miss them terribly...
especially Yaya of course...

She misses me too and according to my sister...
she cried the day we left kuching....
while having lunch...
and yesterday when she went back to
Serian...

She has been begging me to go back for the Chinese New Year
break...
but then airplane tickets are expensive now...
and i am sure that chin will not agree....
Oh...my heart is breaking....
and i know that she'll be disappointed....

Anyway...i can't wait for longer school break so
i can go back to see them again...
Oh...how time crawls.....
the torture....
oh...my heart...my heart...

Christmas 2007 (Belated Entry No 2)

Christmas has always been the best season of the year for me...better than Chinese New Year even though less grand...It is more of a family affair...2007 was no difference...the only difference was my sister's 3 kids were home for Christmas....
Oh how i love those kids....they were funny, fun loving and naughty and most of the time with totally unexpected antics...
I engaged them in baking cakes and biscuits as well as trying out several recipes like bread, muffin etc....

So, during Christmas, we had biscuits and cakes....haha...
Anyway, they enjoyed helping me decorate the Christmas tree....they took the deco off and put them on several times, but that's the whole deal with Christmas, enjoying the moment together with love ones....

The kids enjoyed decorating the house, the tree, the altar and making the deco for the door too...
On Christmas Eve, we went to church at 8 pm for the Christmas Eve mass. It ended at 9.30 pm and we headed home. The kids watch tv for a while while i secretly wrapped their Xmas gift in the room. After they went to bed, i put them under the tree for them....they know that when they wake up on Xmas day, the gift will be there for them...i have made it a point to give them something, to keep the Xmas spirit there. I also gave my dad a new handphone...curtesy from Chin and I. We shared to give him something special.

On Xmas day, we went to Kampung Janbu to visit my sister there. It's my bro-in-law kampung. We felt lazy to go there but it won't feel nice if we don't go there...
It was a humid day and by the time we got back in the evening, it was a relief for everyone...
It was really a quiet family celebration but then again, it means a lot to me....and i love it just like that...
How i wish every month is december
