Gaduh...kira duit...shopping....merayu....kira duit...shopping...gaduh...

The title of the blog says it all...
That was what and still is what we have been doing...
until today and i think we'll continue again tomorrow until
Family Day is finally over.
There were people questioning us about the sponsorship we
got...and then....there were people complaining that the room rate
is too expensive....
but those are their expertise after all....
complaining....whining..... cajoling....bad mouthing....

Well....kite pedulik ape....
anyway...we managed to get sponsorship a bit from here and there...
and ended up we save a lot on the gifts
and still have money left to buy good gifts for the lucky draw.
And at the end of the day we still can
have enough to cover this and that....

We went shopping - the fun part - but a real headache too...
then, the non-stop arguing....
then scrutinising the budget again....
argue again....
and at the same time look for sponsorship again...
a repetition of the same cycle for 2 weeks...
haih....
but we are happy to see so many gifts, goodies and
prizes for all....
and the turn out is not that bad too...
only that non of the Chinese teachers join again
and yeah....that leave me...half Chinese...
and Chin...but he's from Simpang Gelami and that
does not count at all...
We finally got all the loot wrapped up, put in the van
and cars and MPVs....and hauled everything to
Klebang Resort - today.....
Phew.....we had paid 90% of the amount and still left 10%
to be paid on Sunday.
So...i hope tomorrow will be a good
day for us...
I hope Ravi can make it....
The best thing is Kak Liza is joinng us....
since we have not met for so long...
so it's going to be fun to catch up again...
Tomorrow will be busy...

Busy....busy...and busy...planning...arguing...planning....arguing....

These whole 2 weeks had been a busy week for us all.
Us as in the committee members who plan the family day for
the school...
The whole planning thingy actually can go smoothly
but there are people who indeed like to just say bad things about
others to cause animosity....
Haih....
but i don't give a damn....
words cannot hurt me....
say wat you want....
If you think you can do better, take up the challenge and
be a committee member next year.
After experiencing it for yourself...
then you wll appreciate what others have done for you.
Mulut2 jahat.....tak bloe ke simpan kejahatan mu....
or your day will not be complete if you have not
done any bad deeds for the day...
Tak buat jamuan, nak mengata org...
dah di buat jamuan pon nak mengata jugek...
Eh...hello....
we don't simply take ur money to organise makan2 ya...
Pandai2 la cari sumber.
Anyway......Tuhan itu maha mengetahui....
sekiranya mulut mu jahat masa ni...tentu
ade balas nya nanti...
Bila benda tak baik terjadi padamu,
ingat-ingatlah dosa yang telak engkau laku...
and that problem could be a way to salvation.

Glitz & Glamour in KLPac

Hei mambo...mambo Italiano...hei mambo....
mambo Italiano....

This was among the song sang at this fantabulous musical theatre....
We've not been to a theatre show for so long
since i missed out on PGL last year...
so this year....initially
i wanted to watch
I have a date with Spring...
but apparently that was last year's show by
Dama Orchestra....
But this year they have an equally
catchy show - Glitz & Glamour.

It is in Mandarin and English....
The narration is in English while the songs are all in Mandarin.
It's basically a rendition of the SHI Da QUI genre of songs
or performance spanning several decades -
right from the 30s or 40s to the 70s -
From the classic Chinese Oldies to the chacha era
and then right into rock and roll to
sexy sultry jazz....
From Shanghai right to Hong Kong.
The songs and dances were really mesmerizing
and we enjoyed every single moment of it.
Despite it being in Mandarin but i have no problem of
understanding the whole musical theater...
It was See Gem's first theatre show...
and he was utterly delighted and excited throughout
the show....
and he kept squealing when his favourite oldies
were sung....
Though the ticket was a bit costly (RM95) but
it was worth every single cent spent.
next year, Dama has already a new project and that will be
our next date - the life of Teresa Teng...another of our
favourite Chinese singer.
I really look forward to next year's musical by Dama.
2 thumbs up.

Banyak songel......dan mulut puaka....

People are never satisfied in life...
no matter how good the treatment they get....
envy is a very spiteful feeling.....
and it can poison one's mind...and in turn....
that person will try to poison others mind....
and spread the feeling of envy...
Being envious is the is the seed to all evil feelings....
Oh...i'm just being dramatic....
but...yeap...i'm referring to certain people i know....
secret is no longer a secret ....
eventhough they have been reminded in secrecy to keep it
to themselves...
but because of envy, all secrets are bared.
How can people hold so much hatred in their heart?
How can they fuel it everyday to keep it alive?
All these are a waste of precious time and
energy....
but some devoted their life to doing this....
I'm being philosophical.....of course....less the content of this blog becomes
a public knowledge.
But Tn Haji always said....
ape yang UJ x byk songel...
buat ape pon.....mesti byk songel...
nak makan-makan pon bule jadi macam2....
dan bule sakit hati and all....
but if you think you can do better...
why not offer yourself to help and see it through?
There's no harm done to offer one's help, right?
But...alas....segalanya mesti ada balasan....
nothing comes free.....
dan x habis mengata org.....
dan meracuni fikiran org.....
menghasut....
dan kawasan2 yg sewaktu dengannya....
Aku dah menyampah takut hidung dah....
Anyway...may you get what you deserve oneday
sebagai balasan mulut jahatmu....
My random babbling this time is really randon...
but there is logic to the randomness....
i am after all.....not that random....

Japanese Buffet lunch...in Klana Resort.

I'm now so sluggish as i do this entry....
due to my full stomach...i feel like
crawling everywhere....that's how full i am....

Yeap...today had lunch with some friends....in Klana Resort...
Buffet lunch....yesterday was Michelle's birthday
and today we went to have lunch as sort of celebration.
There were 6 of us, Michelle and hubby,
Joanne and hubby, Miss Lee and I.

The food was delicious....and we had loads and loads of good food
and good laugh....and good conversation.
A mixture of Cantonese, Hokkien and English splattered
here and there....
At least my comprehension of the Cantonese
dialect is better than Joanne's hubby.

The oyster was the best of the day...
Michelle is the queen of oyster....
She waited for it to be served and quickly went to the counter
to stack some on the plates.
But seemed that it was pretty popular...
so by the time Joanne's hubby went for the third
serving it was finished.
So fast.

Anyway...we had good laugh and photo taking session.
I forgot to bring my camera of all things.
I usually bring it with me anywhere i go
but today i somehow forgot.
So...i have to get the photos from Michelle.
Anyway, Happy Birthday Michelle my friend...
Many happy returns of the day....

Lost in Malacca

Adventure...adventurous....or....was it being blur..?
Pick one....but whatever it is, it was funny.

Yesterday, Lin, Kak Yah, Sarijah and I went to
Malacca to survey Klebang Resort for our family day.
We left at 11 am from school and reached Klebang at 3 something....
We were lost in the first place.....following the map
given by the hotel.
We took Simpang Empat tol and from there we were
supposed to drive to Cheng Height...but somehow...
we took a right turning less than 5 km from the toll...
and went into a village road...
so we were wondering why it was such and well...
Lin was driving pretty fast...
and somehow we realised that we were heading back into Neg 9.
So we took a good look at the map and realised that
we went into the wrong way.
After that, we reached the hotel safely.
But on the way back, Lin complained that the way we took wee too
far so she wanted to go to Ayer Keruh toll instead.
But somehow half way to Tesco, she made a U turn and headed back into
town centre. We followed the signboard
to Mydin but we missed a turning on the left,
going under the bridge.
The road sign was covered by a very bushy tree.
So we asked for direction at a petrol kiosk and made another
U-turn.
5 minutes later we w ere back at Masjid Besar Klebang...
the way to Klebang Resort.
So, we decided to go to Masjid Tanah instead.
But on the way to Masjid Tanah, Lin saw a sign that says
Tol Ayer Keruh and straightaway turn into right.
We followed the sign of course...confidently...
but half way through i looked
outside the window and realised that we passed
by a beauty treatment centre that i saw before.
But only this time it was on my right.
I suddenly suspected that we were on he same route back to
Cheng Height....but I was stil in denial of course...
thinking that it could be another branch.

So...i looked out the left window and saw something familiar....
It looed like the apartment on Cheng height.
I went..."Eh...?" and pointed at the building and turned to Sarijah.
She looked at me and in such an offhand manner (selambe),
she said...."tau...Cheng..."
At that instant, i couldn't hold it in anymore.
I started to laugh and laugh and laugh....
and all of us laughed and laughed and laughed until tears
coming out of our eyes....
We realised that we had been going round and round and round
Malacca...and failed to find the way to Ayer Keruh Tol.

But we drove on and stopped by a shop and asked one
pakcik for the direction.
He was a kind soul who decided to show us the way
instead of just telling us.
So we took the airport road to the toll, totally a new route.

Thank God for the good Samaritan from Tampin
who took the trouble to show us the way.
But that was a really hilarious experience.
Maybe someone had 'baca2' something that
caused us unable to leave Malacca or it could be
the result of our arrogance of actually complaining the whole
way about the inaccuracy of the map given.

Tu la...lain kali jgn sombong dan byk mulut....
tu la balasan nye...
The funniest thing was non of us actually suggested
Lin to drive straight to Tesco and took the right turning to the toll.
It never even crossed our mind.
So...on the drive back we said that we would have reached
home by then if we were to follow the map.
I reached at 9 something, so you can imagine
what time they reached Jelebu.

Scouting for Batik in Nilai

Last Saturday, Kak Jem, Kak Lin, Baya
and I went to Nilai to scout for Batik -
School batik to be precise.
We went early in the morning and spent
almost a whole day in Nilai.
Boy oh Boy...my feet hurt....and it was so damn hot....
we found some batik and asked for sample clothing
to bring back.
the shops there were eager to get the business.
The material for the cloth itself is not of really good quality
so the price offered was reasonable.
But well......there wasn't any really outstanding piece of batik
there....most prolly these are not the exclusive type.
But anyway...i hope that this issue will be settled soon.

The fun part was that Kak Lin ad Baya really shopped....
as in really shopped....
Baya bought 2 sets of comforter....i think kak Lin did too....
I got some stuff and i thing for next year souvenir....
just in case we need it...so i bought a small remote control box....

School's Kitchen Garden and Edible Landscape

The school was abuzzed with all sort of
agricultural activities since the principal
had decided to join the landscape competition.
4 places were chosen as the prime location to be
prepped up for the visitors.
The bit of garden infront of the staffroom,
the garden inf front of Anjung PIBG, the pond next to the
principal's room and the pond area
in front of the Form 5 block.
After almost 2 weeks of prepping up, the places looked
amazingly beautiful.
well...let's hope that UJ will win and then they can
prepare for the national levl.

Raya visiting Part 2: Jelebu (29.9.10)

On Wednesday, we planned to serbu Jelebu area....
2nd part of the raya visiting...
there were quite a number of us since we were joined by the
teachers from Jelebu area.
Our first destination was the Prison - Aisyah and
Nik's house.
From there we travelled back to school since some teachers
has to be the judge for the cooking comp.
So they catered food for our troupe in school instead.
Kak Ngah and Lin were among those who
were involved in the judging.
Then we were off to Dalina's house.
From there we continued on to Salisah's and then Kak Lin's.
By then it has started to rain...
and when we wanted to leave, the rain was so heavy
that most of us were drenching wet when
we reached Baya's house.
But despite the rain, we had so much fun making so much noise.
The rain did not damped our spirit but
it made the whole visiting business more 'meriah'.

Belated entry: Raya Visiting in Warisan Putri & surounding area

It happened on a Sunday, 26 sept.
the original plan was to meet up at Ruslan's house and then
together we'd go off to Aida's house and the Ani
Rahayu's place but everything turned
upside down when Tn hj suddenly slotted
his house as the first house.
So some of us were at Ruslan's house and after that
we went to Paroi Jaya.
It was a big group consisting of teachers from jelebu - Lin, Kak Ngah,
ustaz Zul and later on Kak Lin.
In Sban there were Me, azie, Ravi,..
Kak bed, erm...Jamilah Marsham. These are of course with
spouses and children, so you can imagine the corwd
and the noise.
But we had fun....moving from one house to another.
Kak Bed served KFC since she just moved in to
her new house....
but we didn't realy care what we ate...
the children had a field day over the KFC.
The troupe started at 11 something and ended at 5 pm.
And everybody ended up too full too eat.
The principal joined our troupe as well but he
dragged us on a marathon raya visit...
moving from one house to another the moment he finished eating.
Mind you i said he finished...
not the troupe members. But at Ani Rahayu's place,
we decided to let him go on is own.
Too full and too tired to move at such speed.
I'll let some of the photos i took do the talking here.

Busy....haih...

I have many things to update on but
yeah...busy is the word....
since i'm keeping 2 blogs and the other one
has taken so much of my time.....
I need to seriously focus on my blog rather than UJ's....
