Today we had a meeting with 5 Gemilang students....
my class....
i've been badgering Tn Haji to have a word with them....
and some of the subject teachers too...
but unluckily some of the teachers were not
in school today due to some competitions elsewhere....
Anyway....it was actually scheduled for tomorrow but
since some students will be going to Kuala Pilah tomorrow,
Tn Haji decided to pull it forward.
So, the counsellor was there with Kak Ola,
their BM teacher and towards the end....
Aida was there too.
Kak Ola and I trashed out some of the teachers' dissatisfaction
towards the attitude of some of the
students in the class....
especially pertaining to puppy love and playfulness
in the class....
some think that they are so good that they do not put in any
effort at all to perform well...
but their mid-year exam results show otherwise...
that these particular students are just
not good enough to be in the Science class...
70% failed their pure Science subjects...
some got 50 for BM....
argh...really frustrating....
I hope that they will change after this....
but the students that we targeted
particularly for this meeting were not in the class
today....
they went to Jusco for the Book Exhibition...
which i think is not important for them to join....
again....not serious in their studies....
Most teachers already lost their eagerness to
give their all for the students of this class...
and only focusing on those who are constantly
improving themselves....
It's their lost if they do not change....
And of course those who give all their effort
and show good quality in their works
will gain the most in this situation.
Tn Haji will be going for umrah soon...
so i hope he will have the time to meet
the remainning few who were not in the class today.
