Cooking Competition...

Every year my school would
have cooking competition for teachers
and this year is no difference...

This morning was the cooking competition
and last night Bed sms me to be
her sidekick....
i agreed though i don't cook enough in my life to join
a competition...hahha...

Anyway...with much anticipation
i joined and well..
i don't expect us to win since
we both were going against
people who cook everyday of their life
and some even cook for a living....

From the moment "go"..
we both were trying to figure out what to cook with wat...
almaklum...bukannya pro kan..
and surely bukan nye Otai...(veteran)...

We were given squid and chicken and
cabage, a carrot, half a cucumber, lemongrass....
hmm....not my favourite recepe...
anyway...Bed decided to cook chicken curry...

sure bomb lepas makan...
i cooked squid...ala Cina...
but i cut wrongly...
sotong tak gulung.....
damn....what an embarrassment...
malunye aku....

Anyway....then Bed cooked mix vege....and i masak
nasi...
so...3 dishes...not 3 out of this world
dishes but just common dishes...
i garnishes the dishes with
spring onion, carrot, and chili...

The other group seemed very creative...cooking
and decorating....
Bed and i had fun tho...

After the judging, we had lunch....
all the teachers came to have lunch in ERT room...
hahaha....i feel like masakan paling x sedap...
kahkahkahkah...

It was an experience though for me...
to cook...
i definitely need to try cooking all the
recepe that i cut out from
the newspapers and magazines
if i want to join this kind
of competition...

My fingers came in contact
with the chillies when
i cleaned it for the
garnishing...

i suffered the whole afternoon..
DAMN...it burned...and
it nearly drove me crazy...
i nearly went to the clinic to ask for
something....anything...to stop it...
sakit la...
Pedas sampai ke tahap cipan betui...
i finally sms my colleague and
she suggested me to put cooking oil on it...
after 10 minutes...it went away...
nasib baik tak jadi cipan....
