Emotional roller-coaster...

Lst night...i went to look up some
old photos to be scanned
and uploaded onto my FB page...
some photos during uni time.....
some of those photos are really classic...
considering that there was no digital camera then..
(thank God for technology again...
some geniuses created digital cameras..)

As i was searching and looking thru
old albums...
and laughing at some old photos...
suddenly...
i found and album containing
my family photos...
back in 2005...
It was the first time that there were 6 of us siblings
with our parents..
and then all the family members...
children and grandchildren...
I took a good look at my parents...
and i realised how young my mom looked then...
how fair ...
my pa too...
i also found pictures of my nieces
and nephews when they were young
and adorable..

Suddenly...a sharp feeling of sadness
grip my heart....
and for no reason at all i started to cry...
tears flowed unchecked...
and i couldn't seem to stop no matter
how much i wanted to...

You see...
it suddenly hit me that time really rolls on by
pretty quickly...
and that things around us are changing...
whether we are ready for it or not...
my parents are growing older and i do not spend
enough time with them...
no matter how much school holidays i have...
i am only an occasional appearance in their
life...
one that is only heard most of the time
thru the phone and not
in person...

silly of me, i know...
but stil i couldn't stop the tears...
of course people are growing older as time passes...
but...well...
i guess...i just want time to stand still...

Chin said his mom too is growing
older but the difference is
he is seeing his mother every weekend...
I wish that i could do that too...
but alas...
we have to go on the path we have chosen...
no matter how difficult it is sometimes...

Oh well...i guess...
i am just going thru an emotional patch in my life
at the moment and
little things make
me sad...
