Today is the final day of 2008...
the eve of the new year....
and i finally got the chance to update my blog....
There are so many things to write about and yet....
so limited time to be online....
Anyway....bye bye horsie.....
and it seems that the OX does not bring good news either...
according to feng shui experts...
Anywho...
The bang in the title refers to a real bang...
as in the sound of explosion...
though actually Chin and I didn't hear it...
You see...today on the way back from school...
on the way down from the ever notorious
Bukit Tangga...
the engine of our car burst....
i don't know which part...
(i'm not a mechanic after all)...
and it causes a leakage to the car petrol...
mind you, it is not the petrol tank...
it comes from the engine part...
We smelt a strong smell of petrol coming in...
and the tank showed empty instantly...
The mechanic said we were lucky that the
engine did not burst into flames
and consumed the car...
We were on our way to fix our
rear seatbelt with perodua...
and so...
our appointment was cancelled..
we couldn't get another appointment
until 2010....
haih...
the long queue...
i hope that it doesn't mean that
we cannot bring passengers at the back...
What a way to end the year...
we waited for the tow truck to haul the car back
to Mantin...
well...the first time ever sitting in a tow truck...
i got down in mantin town...
and when i looked at the rear of the car...
Well...
it looked so pitiful...
being towed with a red tag hanging at the back...
sort of like a tortoise being towed....
anyway...
we have to wait for the spare parts and well..
basically...it spells money....
My little naughty boy has to spend the
count down at a car hospital with
some sick cars...and
the beginning of 2009 waiting for its
spare parts...
hmmm...he must be pretty sad now...
thinking why we left him there
at the workshop...
Well...lets hope for a better year ahead....
one that will bring much successes and happiness...
as well as good progress and meaningful achievements...
no matter how minor it is...
