I read an article on Dr Porntip Rojanasunan on The Star
October 14th recently and felt
a great admiration for this funky middle age lady
who truly believes someone should
champion the dead...
The dead could not speak for themselves
so they need someone to find justice for them...
I wish that Malaysia has at least one great
forensic expert like her who truly
believes in his or her calling...
It is not that i do not trust the police...
yes we do trust the police on the normal mundane
everyday cases that do not involve politicians
and people with connection...
but when it comes to high profile cases...
well...we know the outcome even before the investigation starts...
Cheers to a brave lady....
It makes me believe that people like Mac Taylor, Horatio Caine
and Gil Grissom are not merely
fictional characters created from a Ethiopian society...
I pray that someday Malaysia
too can produce a revered forensic expert like her...
