The rantings of an underpaid professional babysitter.....

Stae level today...kids didn't perform...

Argh...the frustration....
after all the long hours and effort put into training the kids...
they performed dismally today...
Ezzah started to stutter a lot and forgot to do the important
roles...
Khalida is like a mouse...shrinking into a hole...
The only one that really perform but not up to or expectation
still is Ina...

I guess...they were not mentally prepared....
They lost the battle even before it began...
how sad right....
That's the problem with students from rural schools...
They are easily intimidated by the students from town schools
whom to them speak good English...
but the thing that i do not understand is....
they do not use this as a pedastal for them
to challenge themselves to improve...
Instead, they shrink even further...

Azie and I may spend 24 hours a day preparing them but
still...if they are of this kind of mindset....
there's nothing that we can do....
we've tried bashing them, slow talk with them, encouraging them,
motivating them....
but at the end of the day if they think they
still can't...well....
how much can we give anyway...

But i guess...it is still an uphill haul for us...
We have so many plans to prepare them....
and it will be carried out still in the second semester but
i guess....it'll be worth it if we are able to
produce a good team...
Ah...the road to succes is not smooth and lice...(in kelate accent)

They did get bashed again...but i do not want them
to have the thinking that...
Yeah...so what...memang kena marah pon...
(That's what Ina told me when i said aren't u
getting bored or scared of being bashed by us)
But the way she answered sounded like she accepted
it all (pasrah) and there was nothing that she can do to
rectify the matter...
I do not want that kind of thinking...
neither does Azie...
what we want is for them to fight back...
to prove that they can change and be good...
Ah...we have to work on the mindset first before anything else...
I see a long winding road ahead...
Haih...
