The weather has been unbearably hot lately....
There was a thunderstorm yesterday evening but as thunderstorm tends
to do...it lasted only a half an hour...
It was enough to cool the atmosphere for a while but by midnight
it was very hot again...
When it was time for bed...
we decided to try the bedroom downstairs as it faces the back of
the house...
and the winds seemed to be coming from that side...
I was actually implying the purple room but Chin said that
there is no bed in that room...
so we took the pillows and blankets and trooped downstairs
to sleep...
After a few minutes, Chin complained that it was hot...
but we were willing to give it a try...
I couldn't feel comfy because the bed was slightly smaller...
a queen size instead of our king sized bed...
i felt that Chin was invading my territory...and when
i turned to my right side....
i nearly fell off the bed...
but fell asleep we did...
a rather uncomfortable sleep...
At 3 something...Chin woke up...and i felt movement...so i woke
up from my uneasy sleep too...
the bed was hot...and since it was a small bed...
i couldn't move much...
and the heat from my body couldn't be
absorbed by the mattress...
the spot where i slept felt like burning...
argghh....
so i woke up.....
It was then that we decided that it would be more comfortable
to sleep on our 10 inches thick king sized Dunlopillo mattress
upstairs...
so...with groggily,
we trooped upstairs and promptly fell asleep once
our heads hit the pillow...
And woke up at 10 am...
we came to the conclusion that we actually missed our
super comfy mattress....
What a fool....
Boy...am i glad that we decided to spend a lot of money on
a mattress instead of settling on one that might cause backache...
